H. Russell Wilks
H. Russell Wilks is a founding principal of RPR Studios and the company’s Chief Executive Officer with overall responsibility for all company activities and operations. Prior to founding RPR Studios in 2012, Mr. Wilks was a founder and the President of Overland Capital Group, Inc., a private equity firm formed in 2001 specializing in placing foreign investors into U.S. based investments. He was a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive and Investment Committees of Overland. Mr. Wilks is also a former Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of First Leasing Bank in Bahrain. First Leasing Bank was the first investment bank in that country dedicated to equipment leasing. Overland Capital Group was one of the founding owners of First Leasing Bank and Mr. Wilks guided First Leasing’s creation.
Before co-founding Overland in 2001, Mr. Wilks was a Senior Vice President of Key Equipment Finance (“KEF”), the US$7 Billion equipment leasing subsidiary of KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY). While at KEF, Mr. Wilks held several positions, including Senior Vice President of Portfolio Investments and Senior Vice President of Capital Markets and Economics. Prior to joining KEF in January 1995, Mr. Wilks held various management positions at USL Capital in San Francisco, California and worked in broadcasting in San Jose, California
Mr. Wilks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management/Marketing with a minor in Communications and an MBA in Finance from Brigham Young University.
Peter D. Cureau
Peter D. Cureau is a founder of RPR Studios and is also a Managing Principal. In this role, he seeks to manage the development of content for the various platforms, and build relationships with distributors, and production companies in order to expand RPR’s creative reach. Mr. Cureau also looks for opportunities to establish co-development, co-production agreements, as well as joint financing arrangements. Mr. Cureau also puts his extensive financial and banking experience to use in his management of RPR’s investor relations.
In 2011, he founded PD Cureau Advisors to provide consulting and advisory services to business owners, real estate investors, financial institutions, non-bank lenders, not for profit organizations, and opportunity funds looking to invest in distressed debt. For the seven and half years prior, Mr. Cureau was President and C.E.O. of Fort Orange Financial Corp. and of its banking subsidiary: Capital Bank and Trust Company. Before his tenure at Capital, Mr. Cureau spent nineteen years at Troy Savings Bank in Troy, N.Y. where he ran the Commercial Real Estate Lending and Investment function.
Mr. Cureau earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Villanova University and a graduate degree in banking from the University of Wisconsin.
Ryan D. Cureau
Ryan D. Cureau is a founding principal of RPR and is the company’s Chief Operating Officer. In his roll, Mr. Cureau runs the day to day operations of RPR facilitating development and production of projects across the company’s business units. His responsibilities also extend to financial monitoring of the company. Mr. Cureau brings knowledge of media production to the table, having been involved in and produced a plethora of short form works. His experience in finance extends to positions held in a private equity company Overland Capital Group, Inc. and a financial consulting firm, CFO for Hire, LLC. Mr. Cureau earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from the Villanova School of Business.
Chantalle Todd serves as Vice President and Senior Producer of RPR Studios. Her primary responsibility is to oversee all production activity at RPR. Additionally, she supervises the company’s social media outlets and develops content for production. As an artist, graphic designer and photographer, she heads the creative aspects of the company by designing and illustrating promotional content. Her media background comes from working in the news and having produced numerous studio and field shows for Plattsburgh State Television. She graduated with honors from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in Television and Video Production.
